Should A Lost Tooth Be Replaced?

Should A Lost Tooth Be Replaced?

Are you aware the importance of having a complete set of healthy teeth? Or even replacing a lost tooth/ teeth? Most of adults start with full set of 32 teeth.  However at some point we lost our tooth due to trauma or injury, gum disease and decay. Our Teeth is intended to help us speak properly, chew and grind food and show off your smile. When there is missing it is difficult to do these things, also a more serious problem might arise if a missing tooth will not be replaced.  Good thing you don’t have to suffer from lost tooth, with today’s advancement there are several dental treatments to replace what’s missing in your teeth according to American Dental Association.

    • Dentures – An option if you’ve lost all or most of your teeth.
    • Implants – Most similar to a natural tooth
    • Bridges – Attached to your adjacent teeth, these can be removable or fixed. Depending on your mouth and your dentists’ recommendation and your needs.

    Dental Considerations:

It is recommended replacing lost tooth to avoid a possible risk of having bone loss or shifting of remaining teeth.  It’s better to consult your dentist to guide you what is the right type dental treatment for you.
