Several foods can give tooth decay, on the other hand other food helps fight plaque and cavity buildup. Aside from properly brushing at least 2 times a day with fluoride toothpaste and visiting your dentist regularly, you can lessen the possibility of having plaque and cavities by avoiding or limiting yourself from consuming bad food and increase ingestion of good food for your teeth and gums. Acidic and citrus food- Vinegar, Orange, lemon, coffee, etc. which can dissolve tooth enamel.
Drink more water since it has fluoride which helps fight tooth decay, limit snacking non-nutritious foods and drinks.
